By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them, along with our privacy policy.

2. Products, prices and photos

• All prices are in South African rand and include VAT. Delivery is added at checkout, and you see the full total before you pay.
• If you choose a region outside South Africa, prices are also shown in your currency as a guide, at the day’s exchange rate. You always pay in rand, and your bank sets the rate it charges you.
• Our photos show our products in use and in styled settings; the product you receive is the one described on its page. Bundles and kits contain exactly the items listed.
• Star ratings on the site are the public ratings our products have received from shoppers on South African online stores. Bundle and kit ratings combine the ratings of the products inside them.
• If we make a mistake with a price or a description, we’ll tell you before we send anything, and you can cancel for a full refund.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order, you’re offering to buy the products in it. Our agreement is made when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation. We may decline an order (for example, if something is out of stock, a price was wrong, or we suspect fraud), and if we do, we’ll refund you in full.

You can see your order on the confirmation page after paying, and we’ll email you its details so you have a record of it, with your tax invoice attached.

4. Paying

You pay on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stitch, with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Capitec Pay. Your card details go straight to Stitch and never reach us. We only start preparing your order once Stitch confirms the payment.

5. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in South Africa by courier. Delivery costs and times are on our delivery page, and standard delivery is free on orders over R 350. We usually send orders within 5 working days of payment. The products are yours, and your responsibility, once they’re delivered.

Once your order is with the courier, we’ll email you a link to follow it. You can also check on your order at any time on our track your order page, with your order number and the email address you ordered with.

6. Changing your mind and returns

Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel an online order, without giving a reason and without a penalty, within 7 days of receiving it. The only cost to you is sending the products back. We’ll refund what you paid within 30 days of your cancellation.

Our returns page explains how to send something back, including faulty or damaged products, which the Consumer Protection Act lets you return within six months for a repair, a replacement or a refund. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under either Act.

7. Subscribe & Save

• Subscribe & Save delivers the products you choose every 2 to 8 weeks, at 15% off our normal prices.
• You pay for your first delivery at checkout. Before each delivery after that, we’ll contact you to confirm it.
• Each delivery has a minimum of R 200 (the Subscribe & Save items in it, after the 15% saving, before delivery costs). There’s no contract: you can change, skip or stop deliveries at any time by calling or emailing us.
• If our prices change, we’ll tell you before your next delivery, and you can stop before it’s sent.

8. Discount codes

One discount code can be used per order, on one-time purchases (not on Subscribe & Save, which has its own saving), until the end date shown with the code. Codes have no cash value. Free delivery is worked out on your order before the discount.

9. Using our products

Please read and follow the directions on each product’s label. The information on this website, including our guide for new parents, is general and isn’t medical advice. If you’re worried about your baby’s skin or health, or a rash doesn’t clear, please speak to a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

10. Our website

The Bennetts name, logos, mascot, photos and words on this website belong to Bennett Brothers CC. Please don’t copy or use them without our written permission. We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors, which we’ll fix as soon as we can.

11. Our responsibility to you

1. Bennett Brothers CC (trading as Bennetts) (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to the quality and safety of its products and to complying with these Terms and Conditions.
2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the product was purchased.
3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as excluding, restricting or limiting:
   1. any right or remedy available to you under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”) or any other applicable law; or
   2. any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including, without limitation, liability for harm caused by the supply of defective, unsafe or unsuitable goods.

12. If something goes wrong

If we can’t agree, you can approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
